Die Uhr ist eine absolute Rarit\u00E4t. Oignons aus der Louis XIV Zeit wurden nur f\u00FCr allerh\u00F6chste Anspr\u00FCche in Gold gefertigt. Bisher sind lediglich 4 dieser Uhren registriert: 1. das hier vorliegende Exemplar; 2. Oignon von Delorme, verkauft bei Sotheby\u2018s 2011 f\u00FCr ca. 56.000 Schweizer Franken (https:// www.cortrie.de/go/3BM); sowie eine goldene Oignon im Patek Philippe Museum und ein Exemplar im Mus\u00E9e du Lou- vre. Die hier vorliegende Uhr von Frizon ist unseres Wissens nach schon zweimal versteigert worden, erstmals 2012 in Genf, Sch\u00E4tzpreis 30.000-50.000CHF (Quelle: https://www. cortrie.de/go/bmX), und ein weiteres Mal in unserer 145. Auktion mit einem Verkaufspreis von ca. 26.000\u20AC (Quelle: https://www.cortrie.de/go/aqW).\u000APocket watch: museum-like rarity, Louis XIV oignon watch repeater with solid gold case and gold dial, Antoine Frizon Paris, ca. 1705, only 4 pieces are known!\u000ACa. \u00D859.5mm, ca. 194g, extremely splendid and beautifully preserved gold case with sound openings, various animal motifs, tendrils and floral motifs, bell punched BII, signed verge movement with high pillars and regulation in manner of Tompion, repeating the hours and quarters on bell, unique gold/ enamel dial (small imperfections in the enamel), origi- nal hands, intact. The watch is an absolute rarity. Oignons from the Louis XIV period were made in gold only for the highest demands. So far only 4 of these watches have been registered: 1. The one presented here; 2. Oignon by Delorme, sold at Sotheby\u2018s for about 56,000 Swiss Francs in 2011 (https://www.cortrie.de/go/3BM), 3. A gold oignon at the Patek Philippe Museum. 4. And another one at the Musee du Louvre.
