Es handelt sich hierbei um das \u201ELister\u201C-Tourbillon, das 2003 auf einer Genfer Auktion zu einem Sensationsergebnis gef\u00FChrt hat. Die Konstruktionsmerkmale dieses Tourbillons sind sensationell selten. Dieses hervorragende Beispiel eines Tourbillons verwendet eine \u00C9bauche von Nicole, Nielsen mit einem zweiarmigen K\u00E4fig anstelle der weitaus h\u00E4ufi- geren dreiarmigen Variante, wodurch es leichter und damit pr\u00E4ziser wird. Das Geh\u00E4use ist mit der FT-Pr\u00E4gung f\u00FCr Fred Thoms versehen, der f\u00FCr seine au\u00DFergew\u00F6hnlichen Geh\u00E4use bekannt ist, die er den besten englischen Uhrmachern f\u00FCr ihre prestigetr\u00E4chtigsten Zeitmesser lieferte. W. Lister & Sons Ltd, 32 & 34 Northumberland St., Newcastle-on-Tyne, waren seit Anfang des 19. Jahrhunderts Hersteller von Pr\u00E4zisionsuhren. 1853 gewann die Firma den ersten Platz beim Greenwich-Chronometertest, dem weitere folgten, ebenfalls mit beachtlichem Erfolg. Uns sind keine weiteren Tourbillons dieser Qualit\u00E4t von Lister & Sons bekannt. This is the \u201ELister\u201C tourbillon that led to a sensational result at a Geneva auc- tion in 2003. The design features of this tourbillon are sensationally rare. This superb example of a tourbillon uses an \u00C9bauche by Nicole, Nielsen with a two-armed cage instead of the far more common three-armed version, making it lighter and therefore more precise. The case is stamped FT for Fred Thoms, renowned for his exceptional cases he supplied to the finest English watchmakers for their most prestigious timepieces. W. Lister & Sons Ltd, 32 & 34 Northumberland St, Newcastle-on-Tyne, were manufacturers of precision timepieces from the early 19th century. In 1853 the firm won first place in the Greenwich Chronometer Test, followed by others, also with considerable success. We know of no other tourbillons of this quality from Lister & Sons.
