Taschenuhr: Rarität, doppelseitige, astronomische Genfer Spindeluhr mit 4 Komplikationen und 5 zentralen Zeigern, Francois et George Archard, ca.1780
Ca. Ø51mm, ca. 101g, 18K Gold, à-goutte, gepunzt FFC No.7, extrem seltenes Spindelwerk mit 4 Komplikationen, Anzeige des Wochentages und der zugehörigen Planetenzeichen, des Datums und des Monats, alles über 5 zentrale Gold- zeiger, beidseitig Emaillezifferblatt, gangbar, sehr schöner Zustand. Die Uhr ist aus technischer Sicht eine wirkliche Rarität. Die meisten frühen astronomischen Taschenuhren haben mehrere Hilfszifferblätter für die unterschiedlichen Kalenderfunktionen, bei dieser technischen Rarität erfolgen alle Anzeigen über zentrale Zeiger. Auch die Ausführung mit Goldgehäuse ist extrem selten, in der Regel haben diese Uhren Silbergehäuse. Die Gebrüder Achard stellten überwiegend hochfeine Emailleuhren und hochkomplizierte Automaten her. Die hier vorliegende Uhr ist ein Beweis dafür, dass sie auch technisch hochkomplizierte und für die Zeit vor 1800 außerordentlich seltene astronomische Uhren herstellten.

Ø51mm, ca. 101g, 18K gold, à-goutte case, punched FFC No.7, extremely rare verge movement with 4 complications, display of the day of the week, the corresponding planetary signs, the date and the month, all via 5 central gold hands, enamel dial on both sides, intact, in very beautiful condition. The watch is a real rarity from a technical point of view. Most early astronomical pocket watches have several sub-dials for the different calendar functions, on this watch all indications are read via central hands. The gold-cased version is also extremely rare, these watches usually have silver cases. The Achard brothers mainly produced very fine enamel watches and highly complicated automata. The watch here proofs that they also made technically highly complicated and extraordinarily rare astronomical watches for the time before 1800.
