Pocket watch: limited, extremely rare IWC pocket watch, rare 18K gold edition, 'Scarabaeus-Fuchs-Savonnette', Schaffhausen 1983 with original box and original certificate with corresponding brochure
Ca. Ø56mm, ca. 179g, 18K gold, Reference 5420, front with Scarabaeus, inside artist's signature, and No. 203/2500, back showing moon and stars, IWC precision lever movement caliber 9826F with fine adjusting device, manually engraved and 18K gilt, working accuracy in chronometer-quality, sun-shaped dial, snake hands designed by the artist, beautiful wooden case with veneer in rootstock of walnut tree, presumably nearly unused, in working order. According to the sales brochure, the production per watch took 18 months. The case was designed by Professor Ernst Fuchs, completed by the world-famous bronze founder Venturi. The watch has been almost untouched since the 80's and of course has not been polished yet. Originally this watch was to be manufactured in an edition of 2,500 pieces. In fact, it was probably just a part of it. All watches that have been sold on the market have lower numbers. Today it is assumed that only about 250 pieces were made in 18K gold.

Pocket watch: important and probably unique IWC Art Nouveau hunting case watch with relief case "Africa", minute repeater and chronograph, probably made for a world exhibition, No.36489, ca. 1908
Ca. Ø56.5mm, ca. 151g, 18K gold, case and movement with matching number 36489, unique Art Nouveau relief case with a lion in high relief, back with formerly etched Art Nouveau monogram (now only very slightly visible, probably HN), hunting case à-goutte, dome with medals World Exhibition Milan 1906, marking of the movement number 36489, signed exquisite precision lever movement with minute repeater and chronograph, signed 1/5 enamel dial with seconds graduation, blued steel hands, probably original but not signed presentation box, in very good condition, in working order. The watch is for IWC connoisseurs a real sensation. IWC pocket watches with minute repeater are principally very rare, but with a relief case of this quality an absolute rarity. The watch probably comes from a very small series with relief cases and was very likely made for a World Exhibition. Only one comparable piece is known to us, namely the number 36491, only 2 numbers further on, auctioned in Geneva 2007 for ca. 20,000 Swiss Francs (source: https://www.cortrie.de/go/9b6).
