Lange & Söhne Glashütte, original silvered dial with power reserve indicator, blued steel hands, in working order and excellent condition with the rare original box, signed case, movement and dial, signed original box, very fine Glashütte collector's watch. The oval depression in the plate shows that GUB had removed the signature "A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte i. Sa.", which had previously been in this place and signed it with the new company's name. This feature documents that movements from the production of the 1948 nationalised company A. Lange & Söhne were still used in 1955. In 1951 the company was integrated into the newly founded VEB Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe as the company Mechanik Lange & Söhne VEB.
