Rarity, one of the earliest A. Lange & Söhne pocket watches with double complication, No.7652 from 1871
Ca. Ø55mm, ca. 173g, extremely heavy original 18K gold case of excellent quality, hunting case watch, one of the earliest, highly complicated precision lever movements with double complication, quarter-hour repeater and date, best movement quality 1A, screwed gold chatons, diamond endstone, gold lever, gold escape wheel, very early and extremely rare version with only one hammer, perfectly preserved original enamel dial with the early Dresden signature, blued steel hands. The watch was sold to Gustav Jensen in Havana in 1872. It is one of the rarest complicated pocket watches made by A. Lange. Only 2 pieces, numbers 7651/7652 were made in the 1st year of production in 1871! In total only 22 of these watches were made over a period of more than 50 years!

Pocket watch: excellently preserved Glashütte deck chronometer with original box, GUB 1940-1968
Ca. Ø58mm, ca. 156g, solid silver case, back with later military dedication, case and movement with matching number 208415, Ankerchronometer calibre 48 from the remaining stocks of A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte, original silvered dial with power reserve indicator, blued steel hands, in working order and excellent condition with the rare original box, signed case, movement and dial, signed original box, very fine Glashütte collector's watch. The oval depression in the plate shows that GUB had removed the signature "A. Lange & Söhne Glashütte i. Sa.", which had previously been in this place and signed it with the new company's name. This feature documents that movements from the production of the 1948 nationalised company A. Lange & Söhne were still used in 1955. In 1951 the company was integrated into the newly founded VEB Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe as the company Mechanik Lange & Söhne VEB.
