Ø 59 mm, ca. 168 g, extremely heavy double case, 18K rose gold, matching London hallmarks from 1804, master's mark WM, extremely rare, early English chronometer movement with chronometer balance wheel, duplex escapement and diamond endstone, signed Ilbery London 6234, very well-preserved enamel dial with large seconds display for observation purposes, original red gold heart hands, very good condition, in working order, absolute rarity. William Ilbery is considered THE London manufacturer of the finest gold/enamel duplex watches for the Chinese market from around 1800. Chronometers from this period made by him are absolute rarities.
