Ca. Ø50mm, ca. 103g, silver, hunting case pocket watch, case signed Vacheron & Constantin Geneve No. 154054/A. Menzler 1881, signed cylinder movement with wolf's toothing, signed enamel dial (professionally restored hairline cracks), blued steel hands, in working order, with original box and original officer’s chain of the Württemberg Dragoon Regiment No. 25 “Queen Olga”. The watch belonged to Adolf Menzler, cavalry captain and squadron commander of the 25th Dragoon Regiment (evidence from the State Archives is available). The estate also includes a shoulder piece from the uniform and a postcard depicting the 25th Dragoon Regiment. According to the insurance valuation, the estimated value for military collectors, based on its provenance, is €10,000.
