Pocket watch: important English 22K gold/enamel paircase verge watch 1/8 hours repeater with finest en grisaille painting, George Michael Moser and Augustin Toussaint manner, England ca. 1770

Ø 47 mm, ca. 104 g, 22K gold paircase, 1st case a goutte with 5-part lateral hinge, enamel in manner of George Michael Moser and Augustin Toussaint with oval en grisaille painting surrounded by cobalt blue, green and white enamel decoration, English crime quality, finest sound openings, 2nd case pierced, also 22K gold, case with portrait oppositely to the pendant, bell inside, very fine English verge movement with diamond endstone, cage also with portrait; repeating hours, quarters and eighth; main plate signed and numbered, Martin Royal Exchange London No.683, original and signed enamel dial, very fine hands with diamonds, movement intact, very beautiful condition, with excellent and original enamel. A comparable watch with corresponding chatelaine was part of the 92nd Dr.Crott's auction (Lot 528) and had an estimated price of 60,000- 80,000 €.
