Interesting labeling of the box, inside inscribed with Lange-Uhr and outside with Glashütter-Uhren-Fabrik Union, probably a sign that in the postwar period even Lange & Söhne had partly wrong punches and wrongly printed boxes. Only 38 of these extremely rare complicated pocket watches were made by A. Lange & Söhne in the period of 1891-1920. The number 31506 is, according to our knowledge, only the second of these watches, which is offered in auction.
