Ø53.5mm, ca. 111g, 14K gold, hunting case Louis XV with large lateral hinge, case and movement with matching number 1285, Glashütte precision lever movement, similar constructed as Lange & Söhne, hand engraved balance cock, gold balance wheel, gold lever, enamel dial in perfect condition, red minutes, pink gold Louis XV hands, solid 14K watch chain, ca. 50g, ca. 43cm long (clasp and spring ring replaced and not gold), original box, original papers. This extremely rare Glashütte gold hunting case watch in chronometer-quality is in complete original condition with original box and papers. The watch is unrefurbished, in working order and comes from the original owner. Pocket watches made by B.Junge & Söhne Glashütte in this original condition are museum collectors' pieces and much rarer than comparable watches from A. Lange & Söhne. The original box still contains a originally packed spare glass, also numbered 1258. It is assumed that the company only produced ca. 300 high-quality Glashütte precision pocket watches between 1891 and 1900. It is particularly remarkable that the company, which can be described as a "lateral entrant", was able to offer a test certificate from the Deutsche Seewarte in Hamburg or the Königlichen Sternwarte in Leipzig for all watches it produced (source: https://www.cortrie.de/go/a6l). Lange & Söhne marine chronometer used by the German navy, No. 798, with national emblem and navy deployment number M905, delivered to the navy shipyard in Kiel in 1942 Ca. 18 × 18 × 18cm, original 2-part glazed mahogany box with original company plate, signed and numbered, case and movement numbered 798, brass case, gimbal suspension, back with national emblem and navy deployment number M905, spring detent chronometer movement calibre 100, helical hairspring, signed and numbered silvered dial with 56h power reserve indicator, gilt hands, in working order and in good condition, dial and hands with patina, box including key! The chronometer is in the very much by collectors wanted condition with national emblem and navy deployment number, which is a significant difference in the value. Only 113 of these chronometers were delivered by A. Lange & Söhne to the German navy. Very few of them still exist today and are historically important collector's pieces!
