Ø58.5mm, approx. 150g, 14K pink gold, No.7077, glazed movement, very fine, gilt precision lever movement with very rare construction of a "Grande Sonnerie" according to patent Geneve 13896, patent on the plate and on the original box, quarter hour self strike and quarter hour repeater via the same barrel, perfectly preserved enamel dial, pink gold hands, in very good original condition with special original box, with release button on the side of the box. The "Grande Sonnerie" movement patented by Stauffer is extremely rare in the pocket watch version. The patent was more frequently used in travel clocks and table clocks. Henri Onésime Stauffer's patent 13896 for a repeater with only one barrel for the going train and striking train dates from 1897.
