Provenance: Chayette Paris, 18 November 1983, lot 147 sold for FF 17,000. The watch was probably modernised by Breguet Et Fils in the 19th century, as was the case with many early Breguet watches. According to the Breguet archives, the watch was given a silver Breguet second case; originally it was a gold case.
