Approx. 95mm long, ca. 48g, 18K gold, magnificently engraved, blue engine-turned enamel, set with rose-cut diamonds, cylinder escapement, enamel dial in immaculate condition, steel hands, signed Girard Perregaux, movement intact and in original condition with original box, an absolute rarity! To the best of our knowledge, this lorgnette is the only known example by Girard Perregaux and was made in the early years following the company’s foundation in 1856. In its fantastic original condition, it is a museum-quality rarity!
