287-4207  Pocket watch: flat Lepine with duplex escapement and repeater, Bautte, Geneva, circa 1860

Ca. Ø 43mm, ca. 55g, 18K gold à-goutte, engine-turned, narrow coin rim, dome signed J.F. Bautte à Geneve No. 67513, rare, extremely flat calibre with duplex escapement and quarter-hour repeater, screw-mounted enamel dial (minor repair to the edge of the left screw), steel hands, overall in very fine, little-used condition, movement intact. The combination of a duplex escapement and repeater is extremely rare in these flat Lepines.
