Ca. Ø 56.5 mm, ca. 122 g, original, signed steel case, Swiss military markings on the back, serial number 247242, signed anchor chronometer movement No. 318159, silvered dial, steel hands, movement intact, winding mechanism not working perfectly and requires servicing, very rare.

287-4231 Militarily significant pocket watch, V & C Geneve hunting case pocket watch, Captain of the 25th Dragoon Regiment, 1881 Ca. Ø50mm, ca. 103g, silver, hunting case pocket watch, case signed Vacheron & Constantin Geneve No. 154054/A. Menzler 1881, signed cylinder movement with wolf's toothing, signed enamel dial (professionally restored hairline cracks), blued steel hands, in working order, with original box and original officer’s chain of the Württemberg Dragoon Regiment No. 25 “Queen Olga”. The watch belonged to Adolf Menzler, cavalry captain and squadron commander of the 25th Dragoon Regiment (evidence from the State Archives is available). The estate also includes a shoulder piece from the uniform and a postcard depicting the 25th Dragoon Regiment. According to the insurance valuation, the estimated value for military collectors, based on its provenance, is €10,000. now only: 5.000 €
