Rolex Datejust in gold lettering, additional golden vendor's signature JOYERIA RIVIERA, luminous hands, Rolex leather strap with buckle, in exceptionally good condition, in working order, fine collector's watch. JOYERIA RIVIERA was the name of a watch shop which was located in Havana until the end of the fifties and from about 1960 in San Juan Puerto Rico.

Wristwatch: extremely rare Rolex Chronograph, so-called "Moneta" with invisible lugs and black dial, ca.1938
Ca. Ø31mm, 18K gold, reference 3233, serial number 56745, manual winding, chronograph with 2 pushers and 30-minute-register, black dial with golden tachymeter scale and golden telemeter scale, gold hands, Rolex leather strap with buckle, intact, cleaning recommended, probably sold to Bucherer 1938. The watch is in an original box, signed Rolex and Bucherer and is in extraordinary good condition. The dial has small scratches and missing parts in the scale. Because of the unusual shape of the case collectors gave this reference the name "Moneta". An almost identical piece of a 3233 was in the Mondani collection as lot 275 in the auction and was sold for ca. 30,000 Swiss Francs (source: https://www.cortrie.de/go/R9W.).
