177-4194 Wristwatch: Rolex rarity, very early chronograph Daytona "Paul Newman" Ref. 6241 with protective film after Rolex service/ guarantee confirmation in Geneva 2018, from original owner in Hamburg, Geneva ca. 1967/68
Ca. Ø37mm, stainless steel, reference 6241, serial number 17673..., manual winding, silver-coloured dial with black totalizers, luminous hands, Rolex stainless steel bracelet with felt clasp, in very good and well-kept condition, in working order. The originality of the watch is confirmed by the service certificate 4210027039CH, carried out in Geneva 2018. The invoice for the service about 20,200€ and the service report are available. The watch has not been worn since the service and is still in its protective foil as it left Geneva. The last known 6241 in such a beautiful condition was sold for 275,000 Swiss Francs at Phillips in Geneva in May 2019 (source: https://www.cortrie.de/go/EXm).
