177-4218  Wristwatch: Rolex rarity, extremely rare and extremely early Submariner "James Bond Red Depth" Ref. 6536-1 with original papers, ca. 1955

Ca. Ø37mm, stainless steel, screwed down crown without flank protection, screwed back, serial number 112229, automatic movement calibre 1030, patinated original Submariner dial with red lettering 100/330, centre seconds, indexes and hands with luminous material, later replaced textile strap, in working order and in very beautiful condition. The watch comes from the collection/ estate of a longtime Rolex collector and was unfortunately delivered too late for the catalogue. The reference 6536 is one of the rarest and most wanted Submariner and was manufactured only a very short period.
