Ø30mm, approx. 28g, 18k gold, typical splendour case for the Indian market, finely chased, 14 chased arches, green engine turned enamel with gold paillonné inlays on both sides, enamel painting on the back, representation of a putto with lamb, case and movement with matching number 38626, dome signed Henry Capt Geneve, fine movement quality, wolf's toothing, cylinder escapement, bridge signed and numbered, excellently preserved signed enamel dial in extremely rare condition with green numerals, matching the green enamel rim of the case, gold hands, intact, in very beautiful original condition, only fine scratches in the enamel. Alongside Patek Philippe and Vacheron & Constantin, Henry Capt was one of the most important manufacturers in Geneva at this time. 251-4056 Pocket watch: very well preserved pocket chronometer by Vacheron & Constantin, ca. 1905 Ca. Ø49mm, approx. 78g, 18k gold, engine turned, case number 187157, movement number 310304, dome marked "Demi-Chronometre", exquisite, signed Ankerchronometer movement, fine adjusting device, wolf's toothing, moustache lever, perfectly preserved original enamel dial, gold hands, in excellent condition, in working order. The description "Demi-Chronomètre" was used by Vacheron Constantin to indicate that the movement was sent to the observatory for chronometric control, but for commercial reasons did not stay long enough to complete the entire test procedure. The case was probably made by Verger Freres. Mulder La Haye, in excellent condition, hardly used, case with small signs of use, in working order. This chronograph is a special quality, a rare Ankerchronometer. 251-4192 Extremely rare, small 2-day chronometer, Vacheron & Constantin No. 370698, with extract from the archives, 1 of probably only 3 pieces Ca. 13.5 × 13.5 × 13.5cm, original 3-part mahogany case with glazing, original gimbal suspension, brass case numbered 229564, extremely rare spring detent chronometer movement calibre RA30, signed and numbered 370698, helical hairspring, original silvered 65mm dial with 52h power reserve indicator, blued steel hands, in very beautiful condition, intact, cleaning recommended. A copy of the extract from the archives is included. The extract from the archives confirms both numbers 229564/370698 and the originality. The chronometer was sold in 1915. Antiquorum in Geneva sold 1 more of these extremely small chronometers, number 388127, for 87,400 Swiss Francs. According to research by Antiquorum in 1992, Vacheron & Constantin confirmed that only 3 of these extremely small chronometers were built. At the time, it was assumed that the other two chronometers were lost. 10.000 € - 50.000 €
