The watch is a rarity and possibly an unsigned early Patek Philippe. The watch shown in Huber & Banbery page 75 is identical in construction and also bears a low 5-digit number, namely 16010 and is additionally punched with Patek Philippe and the number 157415. A ball watch with an almost identical case down to the last detail, signed Patek Philippe, was offered by Dr. Crott in the 94th auction in 2016 as lot 381 (https://www.cortrie.de/go/NK8).
