Ø40 mm, screwed back with Speedmaster logo, reference 105.003-63, original crown, manual winding caliber 321, serial no. 20526669, original bezel, original dial and original hands, replaced bracelet, in very beautiful original condition, in working order, counter need adjusting, from first owner, bought 1964 at the US-Army-PX store in Frankfurt, very rare in this beautiful condition, wanted collector's watch. The Speedmaster Reference 105.003 is an important milestone in the history of Omega. In autumn 1964, two watches of this reference 105.003-63 were sent to NASA (National Aeronautic Space Administration) to conduct a series of tests to determine whether or not they were suitable for space missions. These Speedmasters successfully met all requirements, and NASA chose them as the official watch for the astronauts of the Gemini programs to wear in space.
