Pocket watch: extremely rare IWC “Zodiac Calendar” in 18K gold with original papers from 1984, Ref. 5310
Ca. Ø 58 mm, ca. 172 g, 18K gold, 12-sided case representing the 12 months of the year, serial number 2361555, glazed movement, IWC precision lever movement caliber 9723, engraved with zodiac symbols, silver/gold zodiac dial, steel hands, gold calendar hand in the shape of a sun, which completes a full rotation in 365 days, in excellent condition and in working order, back cover with monogram EE. The reference 5310 was mainly produced in silver. Gold versions were probably only available to order, and only a few are in circulation. These watches are already coveted collector's items today. The gold value of the case alone is over € 10,000!
