292-4075 Pocket watch: attractive gold and enamel spindle watch, Gorteau à Tours 1773–1787
Approx. 48 mm, ca. 79 g, glazed protective case, inner case in 18-carat gold, very fine painting set with gemstones on a red background (restored), painting perfectly preserved in its original state, case and movement bear the same number 4639, signed verge movement, enamelled dial with the motto ‘Ne quid nimis’ – Nothing in excess, movement intact.
