292-4336 Pocket watch: Girard-Perregaux 3-bridge chronometer in outstanding condition, ca. 1870
Ca. Ø52mm, ca. 117g, 18K gold, à-goutte savonnette, engine-turned, Girard-Perregaux case hallmark, No. 28150, dome inscribed "CHRONOMETRO", also signed, very fine balance-wheel chronometer movement with chronometer balance wheel, diamond endstone, very rare spherical hairspring and gold gear train, precursor to the 3-bridge tourbillon, signed enamel dial, original hands, in working order and in an extremely rare, almost as good as new condition. Prior to the construction of the legendary three-bridge tourbillon, these very fine chronometers were the finest produced by Girard-Perregaux, intended for the South American market (https://www.cortrie.de/go/o8b).
