292-4207 Pendent watch: notable, extremely rare book-shaped watch, probably circa 1650
Ca. 52 x 37 mm, ca. 105 g, gilted and silver, exquisitely detailed workmanship, monogram A.R., early rectangular movement with verge escapement, balance, no hairspring, silver decorations, silver clasp, gut string replaced by a chain, sun-shaped dial, iron hands, visually very well preserved, movement complete but in need of overhaul, extremely rare.
