Sold 174-4127 Pocket watch: extremely rare Vacheron & Constantin Geneve Ankerchronometer with special chronograph with production counter/ number of pieces register, specially manufactured for Mascort & Bonturi Buenos Aires, ca. 1915 Ca. Ø51mm, ca. 115g, 18K pink gold, case number 201612, dome inscribed "Fabrication Speciale pour Mascort & Bonturi", top class Ankerchronometer, No.333118, extra large chronometer balance, special and very fine chronograph with polished and angled steel parts, perfectly preserved and extremely rare enamel dial with red production counter, pink gold hands, in working order and in very good condition. Mascort & Bonturi was a popular shop for fine clothing in Buenos Aires. Chronographs with production counter are extremely rare. We are not aware of any other Vacheron & Constantin chronograph with this dial. The indication on the dome could mean that it is a special design for the man's outfitter to measure the number of pieces in certain production processes.
