287-4155 Pocket watch: probably the rarest Patek Philippe chronograph with central counter (only 6 examples made), ca. 1880
Ca. Ø49.5mm, ca. 111g, 18K pink gold à-goutte, case and movement matching number 47186, extremely rare lever-escapement chronometer movement with large chronometer balance wheel and wolf's toothing, chronograph with 4 central hands, chronograph and central counter operated via the crown, signed and matching-numbered enamel dial, signed H. Muller London & Shanghai, Breguet steel hands, very well preserved, in working order. To the best of our knowledge, Pate Philipp produced only 9 pocket watches with central counters, 6 chronographs (including this example) and 3 split-seconds chronographs (https://www.cortrie.de/go/1GJ).
