292-4006 Pocket watch: One-of-a-kind, large verge watch with antler/bone case and bone dial, Alpine style, circa 1780
Approx. Ø75mm, case made from a slice of stag antler, bone and silver, threaded back in the bone case, glazed on both sides, gilt verge movement, decorative bone dial with an oak leaf motif, steel hands, movement intact, servicing recommended, presumably a hunter’s watch, elaborately crafted, extremely rare.
