292-4118 Pocket watch: significant deck chronometer with 34-minute carousel, Bonniksen 57310, KEW 1904
Original wooden box, 11.5 x 9 x 6.5 cm, silver case with what appears to be a military marking on the back: K.S.A XX.V. (Saudi Arabian military), gold hinge, hallmarks 1905, ca. Ø57.5 mm, ca. 189 g, 34-minute carousel with continuous center seconds, signed enamel dial, movement and dial numbered 57310, steel hands, in very good condition, in working order, tested in 1904 and 1905 with sensational results, e.g. 89.2 points at Kew Observatory in 1904. Signed Bahne Bonniksen carousel watches, based on his invention, are extremely rare and highly sought-after collector’s items! A comparable chronometer achieved a record price of 27,500 Swiss francs in May 2026 (https://www.cortrie.de/go/b0Z).
