Case ca. 18 x 18 x 18 cm, mahogany, company plate No. 203943B, gimbal suspension made of black so-called ‘metal rubber’, Bakelite case, metal back with naval service number M 4177, Anker chronometer calibre 48, very well-preserved matching dial with power reserve indicator, black lacquered hands, movement intact, urgently in need of cleaning. According to an extract from the archives, delivered to the German Naval Observatory (Deutsche Seewarte) of the Kriegsmarine in 1944. As naval chronometers with a naval service number, these are particularly sought-after collector’s items and extremely rare!
