292-4035 Pocket watch: fine verge watch with repeater and ruby cylinder in the Breguet style, original Lepine, circa 1800
Ca. Ø38mm, ca. 39g, 18-carat gold, black enamelled on the reverse, coin rim, signed ‘Lepine Horloger du Roi No. 3325’, Breguet-type calibre with quarter-hour repeater and ruby cylinder, grained gold dial with raised gold letters in place of numerals, owner’s name matching the enamelled ‘B’ on the reverse, with the movement intact, a highly interesting collector’s watch of a quality comparable to Breguet, signed Lepine, the repetition mechanism is very fast and therefore requires adjustment.
