Ca. Ø54.5mm, ca. 138g, 18K gold, American savonnette case of the highest quality, matching the movement number, all three lids in gold, early 2/3 plate movement in 1A quality with diamond endstone and screw-mounted gold chatons, gold lever, gold escape wheel, mainplate signed ‘A. Lange Dresden No. 2922’, key-wound, original enamel dial in very good condition, also signed, blued steel hands, in a very fine state of preservation, a museum-quality rarity. According to our research, this is one of the three earliest Lange gold hunting case pocket watches of 1A quality known today. The watch is supplied with its box and extract from the archives.
