292-4209 Pendent watch: early heart-shaped watch, 17th/18th century, a rarity
Ca. 43 x 43 mm, heart-shaped brass case, glazed on both sides, fully removable heart-shaped movement, verge escapement, silver dial, iron hands, plates magnificently decorated and gilt, movement intact. This is thought to be a 17th-century watch that was modernised to a two-hand design in the 18th century. Heart-shaped pendant watches are extremely rare.
