292-4233 Pocket watch: very fine Geneva enamel watch set with pearls and diamonds, Moricand, circa 1785
Ca. Ø50mm, ca. 71g, 18K gold, set with Oriental pearls on both sides, blue engine-turned enamel on the reverse, central star-shaped paillon work set with diamonds, case and movement bearing the same number 19771, extremely flat verge movement, enamel dial, gold hands, in working order and very beautifully preserved. Another, very similar Moricand enamel watch is known to exist, although in that example pearls were used instead of diamonds for the star-shaped decoration. Source(https://www.cortrie.de/go/9e4)
