292-4254 Pocket watch: early Geneva pocket watch with enamelled plaque, Etienne Boisson, Geneva/London, c. 1700
Ca. Ø58mm, double silver case, LW hallmark with crown, superb, signed verge movement, enamel painting, rare scene (smoking lady), signed silver dial, iron hands, movement running, servicing recommended, rare. Etienne Boisson was a prominent Genevan watchmaker around 1700, who also produced watches for the English market and signed them ‘London’!
