292-4213 Pocket watch: an absolute rarity, verge watch circa 1750, steel and gold with chain, Terrot et Thuillier, Geneva
Ca. 49 mm in diameter, high-relief case with a figurative scene, iron (steel) with gold inlays, exceptionally rare, signed verge movement, distinctive enamel and gold dial, gold hands, original chain with seal and key, movement intact. Only a few watches with this type of case were made around 1750, and only a very small number of these are known to exist and have survived to this day.
