Ca. Ø48mm, ca. 104g, heavy gold case with fine sound slits and bell, enamelled flowers, verge movement signed Antoine Bertrand Paris No. 491, repetition of the hours and quarter-hours, either on the bell or as a ‘silent repetition’ via a push-button on the case rim, Enamelled dial, rare, distinctive hands, movement intact, repeater functions but requires adjustment. Antoine Bertrand was registered as a master watchmaker around 1750.
