292-4309 Pendent watch: a significant Puritan pendant watch in exceptional condition, C. Mellin, London, c. 1620
Ca. 59 x 36 mm, silver and brass, silver side panels depicting various animals, silver lid, signed oval verge movement with balance, signed, vase-shaped pillars, magnificent gilt dial with engraved village scene, single-hand, in superb condition, in working order. A comparable watch by Mellin was part of the Sandberg Collection and was auctioned in Geneva in 2001 (https://www.cortrie.de/go/Oon).
